Manufacturer: Bockingford
Bockingford is an exceptional watercolor paper, traditionally produced on a cylinder machine at St. Cuthberts Mill. It is a 300 gsm paper of the highest quality, which is drawn from 100% wood-free, chemically bleached cellulose. This paper will retain its quality for hundreds of years (with proper storage) and will not change color or become damaged. It is characterized by high resistance to light (6+ on the Blue Wool scale). The attractive surface is created from natural fibers, which give it the characteristic texture of wool felt. In addition to watercolor, it can also be painted on with pastels, gouache, acrylic, pencil, charcoal ink, as well as used for some printing techniques. Its surface is extremely tolerant and has excellent color rendering, making it highly regarded among professional and amateur artists around the world. Also available in block in A4 and A3 formats.
The range includes 3 textures: smooth (Hot Press), fine (Cold Press), and rough (Rough Grain).
