A set of 12 watercolor paints in half cubes, closed in an elegant, dark blue case. The double lid of the packaging acts as a paint mixing palette with many compartments of large and small size and depth. They can be detached from the case and easy to clean. The watercolors in this set belong to the Winsor & Newton Cotman series. The colors are expressive, they can be freely mixed with each other, which significantly expands the palette of shades (however, it is recommended to mix paints with the highest lightfastness to obtain a more durable effect). The colors remain intense after drying, even when diluted significantly with water. The paints are characterized by the same viscosity, smooth consistency, high lightfastness and excellent spreadability on the painted surface. The clarity and fluidity of watercolors results in achieving uniform, streak-free washing and wonderful, transparent effects. Winsor & Newton replaced the expensive pigments in this series with cheaper, but still high-quality counterparts. So don't worry about a good standard of watercolors in this series. The package includes an additional space for 12 semi-cubes, selected according to your preferences. Winsor & Newton paints from the Cotman series are also available as pieces and in other sets.
