Koh-i-noor gioconda dry pastels in crayon

The GIOCONDA 8820 line of soft pastels in wood is a traditional and very popular product from KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH. The range of these products is similar in assortment to the circular soft pastels known as TOISON D'OR 8500.

The key ingredients in the pastels are very pure and finely ground natural ingredients based on carbonate lime. There are also calcium minerals or chalk. Together with the other ingredients and mixed factors, they form the basic structure into which pigments are carefully blended. Pigments are sourced from reputable manufacturers from around the world. The quality of the paint, lightfastness, strength and appropriate consistency affect the final result of the work.

Thanks to the dimensions of the cartridge, 3.8 mm, this product presents a great value for each user. The noble wood from which the crayons are made allows for easy sharpening. It is possible to draw even very fine details. Therefore, they are suitable even for very accurate drawing and can be successfully used as a complement to round soft pastels.
