Szlagmetal is a thin metal foil imitating real gold in a petal.
Clean and prime the decorated surface. Apply a layer of glue (mixtion), when the glue dries and stops being sticky, gently apply flakes of metal, press and smooth with a soft brush. Protect the gilded surface with a shellac solution or a metal varnish. Flakes layered with tissue paper and are not stuck to the tissue paper.
Any surface can be gilded: frames, ceramics, furniture, sculptures.
