It is softer than synthetic bristles and even softer than sable bristles. RestauroHouse 240 series brushes perfectly transfer inks, diluted watercolors and other water-based paints to paper, without leaving any pigment in the bristles. They are often used for calligraphy and engraving. They leave uniform, smooth strokes with gentle, soft edges, which makes them professional brushes even for the most demanding watercolorists.
