Daniel Smith acrylic gesso transparent 118ml

Gesso, or paint primer, is an extremely useful primer for paint. The purpose of applying gesso to a surface (such as canvas, wood, dicta, paper, cardboard, plaster, stone...) is to level it, level the pores and give it more adhesion and absorbency before applying paints. Paint primer by Daniel Smith is a transparent gesso dedicated to acrylics, not tinted to any color. The right consistency allows simple and even application of the gesso. It can be diluted with water (up to 10%), which further increases its efficiency. It dries within a few hours, but painting is best started after 24 hours. Gesso Daniel Smith can also be used under other water-based paints. Note: the surface to which the gesso will be applied should be cleaned and degreased. Apply at temperatures above 10°C directly from the bucket using a soft synthetic brush. Package capacity: 118ml.
