OLFA RM-IC-S cutting mat

Green "self-healing" mat for cutting with circular knives. The mat is double-sided, with a printed centimeter scale on one side and an inch scale on the other side. Dimensions: 600x450mm, thickness: 1.6mm.

RM series mats are specially designed for cutting with circular knives. They can also be used to cut knives with narrow 9mm segment blades and scalpel knives, but only with little force. The mats effectively protect the blade from blunting too quickly and the table top from damage. The mats have a three-layer structure. The hard middle layer prevents the mat from being cut, the outer layers are soft so that the knife blade sinks into them while cutting, effectively cutting through the material. The surface of the mats is slightly rough, which prevents the material from slipping, and the printed scale facilitates cutting. OLFA mats are manufactured using a unique technology exclusively in Japan, from specially selected high-purity materials. This makes them particularly durable and guarantees the maximum service life of the blades.

OLFA mats should be stored flat, protected from heat, and not left in direct sunlight. The mats deformed under the influence of heat do not regain their original shape.
