Schmincke medium L fast drying for oil paints

Medium L is a resin-based product that is popular and appreciated among liquid alkyd media. After mixing, it perfectly improves the fluidity and spreadability of oil paints. It affects the improvement of gloss and color transparency. The main advantage is the thixotropic properties of the product, which allow the density to be changed by mixing. By increasing the intensity of mixing, the product achieves a more fluid consistency, which makes it easier to spread the paint on the canvas. With less vigorous manipulation, the structure becomes denser and dries faster. The addition of 10% of the medium L shortens the drying time by up to half compared to ordinary oil paint. If necessary, it can be diluted with e.g. turpentine substitute 50019.

Close immediately after use. Store in a cool, dry place.
