Pastel Revolution Absorbent Primer is an innovative product from Clairefontaine that allows you to prepare the ground for pastel and charcoal painting. On the applied surface, it creates a texture similar to Clairefontaine Pastelmat smooth paper, which is appreciated by many pastel painting artists. Transparent when dry, it can be colored with water-based paints or powdered pastels. It can be used to prime wood, metal, canvas and paper of greater thickness. Finished works can be protected with Clairefontaine Pastel Revolution fixative. Available in 250 ml and 500 ml capacities.
