Schmincke's Norma Blue series water-based oil paint drying retarder medium is an indispensable item for artists wishing to control the wet-on-wet painting process. The oily medium with excellent miscibility with water allows thinning and extends painting time. Oil content significantly increases gloss and creates a flexible coating. The product is almost odorless, non-toxic and environmentally friendly thus providing a safe working environment. It can also be used with traditional oil paints. Should be mixed in a ratio not exceeding 1:1.
