Schmincke Horadam Naturals is a unique fusion of watercolor and gouache, created using only natural earth pigments, extracts and plant resins. The paints have taken over from gouache the ability to create a matte, thick layer of paint, and from watercolor the paint's retention while working with it and its transparency. Horadam Naturals are mainly translucent with good lightfastness and the best kind of gum Arabic as a binder. The series is 100% vegan and includes 16 colors, half of which are based on earth pigments and the other on plant pigments. The paints can be mixed with watercolor and gouache, and used straight from the tube or diluted with water. Also available in sets.
