This high-quality paper, composed of 20% of the purest cotton fibers and 80% of cellulose, is produced without the use of acids or chlorine derivatives, which ensures its exceptional durability and resistance to yellowing under UV rays. Ponte Vecchio paper is characterized by its naturally white color and rough, textured surface, which makes it ideal for a wide range of artistic techniques. It is particularly recommended for dry techniques such as drawing with pencil, charcoal or pastels, but with moderate use of water it also works well for wet techniques such as watercolor, tempera, gouache and ink. Its unique texture allows for the creation of interesting artistic effects, allowing watercolor paints to melt freely and create interesting spots and streaks.
