Watercolor paints are water-based paints used for painting on paper. They come in the form of dry buttons, which, when moistened with water, produce ready-to-use paints almost immediately. Astra school watercolors consist of high-quality finely crushed pigments, combined with a water-soluble binder. In addition to pigments and binders, school watercolors contain certain amounts of fillers, which make the paint matte as it dries. As a result, by applying the paint thicker, it is possible to paint with techniques similar to gouache, and at higher dilutions with techniques characteristic of watercolor. Watercolors can be used in combination techniques with tempera paints, poster paints and wax crayons. Watercolors are mainly intended for children and schoolchildren beginning their art education. Thanks to their form, they can be easily carried, for example, in students' school bags and stored for a long time without fear of changing their properties. The diameter of the watercolors is 23,5 mm.
