Arches block for oil painting 300g 12ark Gran Fin

Arches® Oil is a 300 g/m2 cylinder machine-produced paper composed of 100% cotton fibers.

The extremely durable surface allows for the full range of oil painting techniques, including masking. The naturally textured surface of the paper represents a quality very close to a spread canvas, while at the same time providing great ease and convenience of brush handling. The paper does not require pretreatment, and thanks to its semi-absorbent surface, the drying period is slightly shorter than many other painting media.

The paper's formula, specially developed for oil painting, eliminates the risk of oxidation of the paper fibers and the pigment remains on the surface of the paper without "soaking in" or forming oily "halos" around the paint.
