Watercolor Arches paper is the highest quality paper made of 100% cotton. It has four naturally formed edges and the Arches watermark. Thanks to traditional production methods using a cylindrical paper machine, it has a natural and harmonious texture, similar to handmade paper. Thanks to this technique, the fibers are evenly distributed, and the paper is more stable and resistant to deformation. This dimensional stability allows the paper to stretch evenly when wet. Arches watercolor paper is subjected to a unique process of sizing with natural gelatin during production, which gives it unparalleled resistance to scratching and ensures faithful color reproduction. Arches paper is durable, in accordance with ISO 9706 and protected against mould. Its whiteness is natural, obtained without the use of optical brighteners. It thus provides optimal storage options.
