The Hake brush is a very versatile, soft and water-absorbing brush for watercolor paints. Works best for painting large patches of color and background. They are also used to apply gesso primer or varnish to the finished painting. Each brush is hand-formed from a large amount of the highest quality goat hair, sewn together and placed in a wooden handle.
