Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors are made of finely ground, intense pigments. They also boast excellent lightfastness (virtually all are graded I or II). They produce bright and pure colors even when layered.

The PrimaTek (Genuine) series is a range of watercolors made of precious stones and minerals, including hematite, tiger's eye, rhodonite and lapis lazuli, which have stimulated the imagination of artists for hundreds, if not thousands of years. These colors are made with genuine mineral pigments. Their effects are amazing and varied, from warm and subtle to sparkling and vibrant. They have a more compact consistency, and after spreading, they leave the effects of previously unattainable granulation and grainy structure.

Luminescent colors owe their properties to titanium particles coated with mica. They can be used individually or mixed with standard colors to achieve various effects. The iridescent/pearl colors appear almost colorless, but when applied to a dark base, they create a fascinating impression of depth, along with intense color and sheen. Colors take on different shades depending on the angle of the light. For example, interference green looks shimmering, pearly green from one viewpoint, but refracts reddish from another.

Duochrome colors oscillate between two different colors depending on the light. Depending on the type and settings of the monitor, the colors shown in the picture may differ from the real ones.
