Caran d'ache luminance 6901 set of 100 drawing colored pencils

Caran d'Ache is known all over the world as a producer of the best quality plastic products. In 2008, in order to meet the needs of its customers, the company launched premium artistic crayons called Luminance 6901. The company, when developing the graphite formula for Luminance crayons, followed the highest ASTM standards classifying art crayons in terms of photosensitivity, hence the name of Luminance crayons 6901 (from the word lumen - light; and 6901 series from the designation of the D-6901 standard).

Luminance crayons guarantee 100 years of resistance to the harmful effects of light (in museum conditions), which means that the work done with these crayons does not fade and does not change color with time. The highest quality pigments used for the production of graphite (3.8 mm) make the obtained colors very deep and intense. And the innovative formula based on wax provides a soft, even velvety, smooth drawing. In addition, thanks to this graphite formula, the drawing is waterproof (the crayons do not blur under the influence of water). Luminance 6901 pencils are made of cedar wood and they sharpen very well. They have been covered with several layers of water-based colorless varnish, which is non-toxic and harmless to the environment.

The set includes a full range of 100 colors sealed in a cardboard package.
