This is why Winsor & Newton offers the Scepter Gold II, a brush made from a blend of pure sable and synthetic fibers, offering a performance close to that of a sable at a price similar to a synthetic one. Perfect for working with watercolor paints, also suitable for use with acrylic, oil and quick-drying alkyd paints. The sable bristles have excellent bounce, and the high-quality synthetic fibers ensure the brushes are soft enough to spread the color. The length of the brushes is about 19 to 19.5 cm.
