This is why Winsor & Newton offers the Scepter Gold II, a brush made from a blend of pure sable and synthetic fibers, offering a performance close to that of a sable at a price similar to a synthetic one. Perfect for working with watercolor paints, also suitable for use with acrylic, oil and quick-drying alkyd paints. The sable bristles have excellent bounce, and the high-quality synthetic fibers ensure the brushes are soft enough to spread the color. The length of the folded brush is about 7.6 cm, the length after folding is 10.5 cm, the length of the bristles is 1.1 cm, the width of the bristles is about 0.2 cm.
