Batik is an unusual and effective manual technique of dyeing fabrics, which was created in Indonesia before the eighth century. The basis of this technique is the application of wax to the materials, and then a bath in a dye that only dyes the uncoated parts of the fabric. For the application of wax to the fabric you need a special tool that offers our store. A brass bubble (tank) with a hole is placed on the wooden handle, into which hot, liquid wax should be poured. The wax flows onto the fabric through a narrow tube connected to the bulb. Simple but elegant and above all practical design. Total length of the tool: 23 cm.
