The core of Derwent Onyx Pencils is made of the darkest smooth-textured graphite, allowing you to apply strong and rich blacks to your work, darker even than a 9B pencil. The selected graphite used in Derwent Onyx pencils has, a compact, non-brittle texture and a wide 4mm core, which allows, long after the pencil is pointed, to enjoy its sharp tip. This makes the Derwent Onyx pencil suitable for both quick expressive sketches and detailed technical and architectural drawings. The darkest tones can be achieved by pressing the pencil down hard, for lighter, more detail-rich drawings just glide lightly across the page. Available in two tones Medium and Dark.
