The pastelmat block was created with the high requirements of pastel painting in mind. 300 g / m2, acid-free, neutral pH. Contains 12 sheets in 4 different colors (beige, sand, sanguine and dark gray). Between each sheet there is a protective spacer made of transparent paper to protect your drawings. Sheets of paper stuck together at the top. The innovative surface of the sheets allows for the application of multiple layers and the implementation of precise details. Velvety surface - excellent ability to retain pigments and bring them out without the use of fixatives. It allows for perfect and smooth application of pigment with thin or thick lines. Pigment consumption 30 to 40% less than in standard grain paper. It enables the application and mixing of several layers of colors without the effect of supersaturation and their easy blending. The fine-grained surface produces very little pastel dust when painting. Can be wiped with an eraser without damaging the surface.
