Natural fine-grained Arkansas stone is an extremely resistant tool designed for sharpening various types of tools. Sharpened at the front and rounded at the back, it enables precise processing of very delicate and sensitive surfaces. Fine-grained, extremely wear-resistant, has a very hard structure and is primarily used for polishing curved blades. The offered stones have a homogeneous structure and are free from cracks. White stones have a slightly lower density than black stones, which translates into lower hardness. The stones are imported from Arkansas, USA, where they are mined in the Ouachita Mountains. Their deposits are close to depletion, so the availability of this product may decrease over time. For years it has been perceived by experts as an excellent finishing tool. Best used with oil. To do this, apply oil to the stone. Place the sharpener on a flat surface and slide the tool over the stone (applying light pressure). Repeat the operation several times on both sides of the blade. Try to keep the knife's angle between 15 ° and 30 °.
Shape: sharp front, rounded back
Dimensions: 56 x 25 x 5 mm
