The set of 100 Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors is a unique set, housed in a beautiful wooden case, created to celebrate Kuretake's 120th anniversary. These traditional Japanese paints were created in collaboration with Japanese artists, which guarantees their high quality.
Gansai Tambi paints are distinguished by their rich, intense colors and smooth, creamy texture. They have a very high concentration of pigment, so they dissolve perfectly on the brush and transfer beautifully to paper. Unlike water-based paints from other companies, they do not require intensive rubbing with a damp brush to pick up the pigment. All you have to do is lightly press the bristles against the surface of the cube and the pigment will apply itself to the brush. They are perfect for watercolor paintings, illustrations, watercolor sketches, sumi-e, etagami and blurs that look a bit like ink.
