Winsor & Newton beef bile is a high quality medium for watercolors and tempera. It can also be used for marbling techniques. It greatly influences the spreadability of the paint, making it easy to uniformly paint the area. It also reduces the surface tension of hard glued papers. It reduces the drying time and visibly improves paper absorbency. This product is purified, refined bile, which has an unpleasant odour. Medium has a yellow-green hue due to the content of pigments derived from blood hemoglobin. The liquid can be applied in several ways: by adding a few drops to the water, mixing with the paint on a pallet or dipping the brush directly into the bile. It is recommended to paint on soaked yellow watercolor paper for best results. Bottle capacity: 75 ml.
