The Joseph Gillott brand Mapping Pen is ideal for sketching, cartooning and mapping. The thinly tipped nib of the 659 series is flexible and allows you to create different line thicknesses depending on the amount of pressure applied. It is slightly stiffer than the 850 or 2788 series making it suitable for accurate and detailed drawing where a fine line is needed. In addition, the nib has been placed on a reversible nib insert similar to that of travel watercolour brushes. The liner can be pulled out, reversed and placed inside the barrel so that the nib is protected when not in use. Thoroughly clean the nib in warm, soapy water and ensure that it is completely dry before use.
