Kuretake Brush Pen Mannen Mouhitsu "Makie-Monogatari" Zuichou-houou is a unique writing tool that stands out for its extraordinary elegance and careful craftsmanship. The graphics on the casing were made using the Maki-e technique, which involves hand-applying metallic powder (which also includes precious metals such as gold and silver) to decorated objects. 
In the set you will find three interchangeable cartridges with black water-based ink, which not only provides deep color, but is also waterproof and resistant to aging. Refills for the Mannen Mouhitsu series can be purchased separately. 

To keep the pen in excellent condition, we recommend using it at least once a month. If by chance the tip dries out, you can easily refresh it by soaking it overnight in room temperature water and replacing the cartridges.
