Liquitex bio-based gel matte medium 250 ml

Liquitex Professional Bio-Based Medium Gell is an innovative acrylic product dedicated to acrylic paints of the same series, which combines high quality with environmental concerns. This product increases color depth and transparency while reducing surface gloss. What's more, the medium extends the drying time of the paint, giving artists more time to work with the material and enhancing brush marks. It can be used to add volume and thicken soft consistency paints or acrylic paints. The product is semi-transparent with a gel consistency and becomes transparent when dry, although it can retain a degree of translucency when applied very thickly. Unlike traditional acrylic media, whose resin base consists of 100% petroleum-derived ingredients, Liquitex Bio-Based contains 50% ingredients derived from renewable sources such as corn, soybeans, sugar cane and algae. The medium can be diluted with up to 25% water, with distilled water achieving the best results.
