Mortars of adhesive technology

The mortar for the adhesive technique should be low absorption and fairly flexible.

Composition:

• 1 part by weight of adhesive,
• 5 parts by weight of water,
• 10 parts by weight of washed chalk.

Such mortar is applied with a brush. Wanting to use a brush, this mortar should be diluted with water.
You can also make a mortar on rice flour. It is used hot. It is a moisture-resistant mortar.

Casein mortar

Mix chalk with water to the density of dough. To this add the same amount of casein solution (medium density). Apply to the canvas with a brush.
